How we got started

It all started as an "idea" in 1999 when Tim Brown, Miracle Concepts Founder and PGA Professional, began to look for ways to help his customers raise more money for their cause. Tim was also interested in giving something more meaningful to the golfers in his tournaments besides a golf shirt, hat and goody bag. Year-in and year-out, Tim had watched frustrated event organizers work hard for months convincing golfers to play and pay an expensive entry fee. Then the organizers would worry over detail after detail only to raise $7K - 15K. There had to be a better way...and there was.

Miracle Concepts was born after several very successful golf events proved the concept worked. That “concept” has been going strong now for over nine years. The success of Miracle Concepts led to the development of Miracle Concepts. Many of our customers loved our approach so much that they began to ask us to do non-golf and tennis events for them too. Miracle Concepts Intl (MCI) is the result of those requests. Miracle Concepts will customize your fundraiser to suit your specific needs. Whether it’s a walk, run, triathlon, bike or motorcycle ride, bowl-a-thon -- really, whatever sport or activity you choose – Miracle Concepts can do it for you.

These are the "facts" about how Miracle Concepts came to be...but the truth is that Miracle Concepts was born out of our desire to love and help people. Our name "Miracle Concepts" comes from the countless miracles we have seen take place through our events.

We have been humbled to see families who are dealing with terminal illnesses - smile and cry - when they receive a check to cover their medical and living expenses.

And

We have been honored to have a role in helping various non-profit organizations' raise money to search for a cure for the incurable.

And

We have been inspired to watch faith-based groups raise money for orphans, the homeless and the hungry.

And

It has been fun to watch both parents and children work together to raise money for the needs of their school or sports team
